From Death unto Life

 

 

Hearing God’s Word, believing on Him,
We pass from death unto life;
Delivered from all condemnation,
We’re given new life in Christ.
Hallelujah! All things become new,
The old things are passed away;
We’re grafted into God’s Great Kingdom…
O what a glorious day!

With a new heart and all new desires,
We learn to be very still,
And meditate on His precious Word,
For we want to do His will.
And as we follow close to our Lord,
He blesses all of our days;
We’re saved from eternal death to life…
How could we help but give praise?

If we do fail to praise our Shepherd,
The rocks themselves will cry out;
And if hard stony rocks can praise Him,
Surely softened hearts can shout.
O glory to God in the highest,
We have new spiritual life,
An abundant life everlasting…
In our Savior, Jesus Christ.
We’re raised From Death unto Life.

 

 Jesus said: “He that heareth my word, and believeth
on him that sent me, hath everlasting life,
and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed
from death unto life.”
(Jn 5:24)
