The Glory Woods

 

 

The woods proclaim the glory of God:
Each leaf, each branch, each tree -
Lifting our hearts in praise to Him
For the many wonders we see.
The woodland animals all glorify Him,
Each and every frolicking one;
As we view God's creation and provision,
We rejoice in all He's done.
The deer, raccoons, squirrels, and rabbits
Bring glory to His name;
Even the chirping crickets and croaking frogs
All do the very same.
Each one of the birds of the air
Has its own praise to bring,
Gracefully soaring through the trees,
Freely and joyfully to sing.
When we're downhearted, feeling low,
With heavy burdens to bear,
We need only to walk among the trees,
God's presence is always there -
In The Glory Woods.

 

 

"Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein:
then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice before the Lord..."
"... blessed be his glorious name for ever:
and let the whole earth be filled with his glory..."
(Ps.96:12-13a, 72:19)
